G-Eazy and Maryland MC Logic will perform Friday, June 3rd, while
pop-punk heroes Blink-182 and their disciples, All Time Low, are set for
Saturday the 4th.
Tickets for this years X Games are also now available to purchase via the event's website. General admission starts at $39, while VIP, one-day and three-day passes are available, as are music-specific options.
The X Games will announce their first slate of athletes on March
29th. For the first year, competitors who medaled in last year's events
will receive an early invite to compete if their sport discipline is
still on the schedule. The X Games will be broadcast on ABC and ESPN.
This will also be their final year in Austin, with the search for a new home in 2017 and 2018 underway.
The X Games has continued to push its musical offerings in recent years during both its summer and winter events. This January's games in Aspen, Colorado featured performances from Deadmau5, Nas and Run the Jewels, while last summer's festivities in Austin boasted, among others, Metallica, Nicki Minaj and Talib Kweli.
