Over the weekend, the Travis Barker-curated Musink tattoo convention and music festival took over Orange County's fairgrounds for three days of, well, music and ink. As tattoo artists set up shop in the expo center, bands performed in the large hangar on the grounds, allowing attendees to slash around with their fresh ink. The likes of Rancid, Bad Religion and Yelawolf graced the stage during the eighth-annual festival, but the grand finale was Blink-182. After playing intimate shows in Los Angeles and San Diego during the week, Sunday night was their largest show after adding Matt Skiba to the lineup.Though Alkaline Trio frontman taking Tom Delonge's place, the band didn't miss a beat. The on-stage energy was just as charasmatic as any Blink-182 show in the past, and Skiba nailed Tom's parts both lyrically and musically. The trio tore through a 22-song set list that spanned the band's extensive discography and included the playful "Happy Holidays, You Bastard" and "Family Reunion" (because, duh). We were there, observing the vibrant tattoos and getting our fill of great tunes. Check out some of our favorite shots from Musink below.
